On April 3, Apple released its newest gadget, the iPad. Many people were attracted by the sleek look and the features of this brand new device after Apple CEO Steve Jobs revealed it this past January. The iPad is a small tablet computer in which you can surf the web, read eBooks, watch movies, play games, listen to music and much more.

MGMT’s highly anticipated second album was released just a couple of weeks ago. Much more psychedelic and obscure than their earlier works, the new album, “Congratulations,” let down many MGMT fans. In interviews, the two members, Andrew Vanwyngarden and Ben Goldwasser, acknowledged this fact. Both were very upfront about it, stating all in all that was pretty much their goal. This album was meant to show the type of music they truly enjoy listening to and making.

Two weeks is a very long time. On average, an MHS student can have four tests, two quizzes and one essay due in a two-week period. A question must be posed: how can a student survive without the constant stimulation of education over the long Christmas break? By attending entertaining events of course!

This month, the long awaited “Fantastic Mr. Fox” will finally make its debut on the big screen. The movie is based on Roald Dahl’s classic novel, which was first published more than 30 years ago. Its screenplay, adapted by director Wes Anderson, as well as Noah Baumbach, relies heavily on the original text.

Two days before Christmas, the sequel to the highly-praised movie “Alvin and the Chipmunks” comes out in theaters. “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel” is a hilarious story of three chipmunks who are very talented little creatures.

PACE is one of MHS’ most interesting and unusual programs. It includes a four year dance curriculum which a very unique experience in a high school. Martie, the PACE dance teacher, has been teaching in PACE as a dance teacher for many years. Each year, she creates a dance show for PACE, Kinesthesia.
