Michaela Loughran is now onto her second year as a staff member for the Globe. She first began writing for the newspaper as a sophomore, then became the page director of the Spotlight section as a junior, and is currently the managing editor of the news and op-ed sections. Besides writing and editing for the Globe, Michaela loves playing soccer, playing the alto saxophone, and tutoring kids in her free time. She is excited for another year of hard work on the Globe!
