Maya Hennessey (’26) expressed her excitement about the album “as a whole.” Ever since attending the Love on tour in 2022, Hennessey has been a fan, detailing how she had a really “unique and entertaining experience.” Some of her favorite albums include Fine Line and Harry Styles, specifically songs like Sign of the Times and Golden, but that generally just depends on her mood.
Gabby Robb O’Hagan (‘26), said her excitement for the new album comes from Styles’ depth as an artist. She shared that what stands out the most about Styles is his “raw talent” as both a singer and songwriter. She stated that her favorite songs, Sign of the Times and Falling, highlight the depth of his lyrics. Robb O’Hagan added that Styles is “an artist worth recognition for his songwriting, production, and vocal talent,” which makes it difficult for her to choose just one favorite album.
In terms of Kiss All The Time. Disco. Occasionally., Robb O’Hagan is especially excited about its creative direction. She pointed to the 80s-inspired disco sound illustrated by the album’s visuals and first single. She noticed how he seems to be experimenting with the 80s/retro vibe, and noted that “his voice suits it.” For her, this willingness to take risks and try something new is what made the album release extra exciting. “When artists try something new, it shows their dedication to creating something interesting for their fans, which I really appreciate,” she said.
