Leighton is a Senior on The Globe staff and serves as the Editorial Director. This is her second year on staff. In this role, Leighton schedules and leads editorial meetings, encourages open discussions about issues affecting the school community, and writes or assigns each issue’s editorials. She also works closely with the editor-in-chief and faculty advisers to develop ideas and edits and lays out the final editorial page. Outside of The Globe, Leighton plays doubles for her varsity high school tennis team. She enjoys cooking, reading, and traveling.
